Postmatch

Terms of Service

The agreement between you and Postmatch about how the app can be used.

Last updated: 28 April 2026

Short version. Use Postmatch for your own dating-app data only. Don't try to break it, abuse it, or use it on someone else's data without their consent. We provide the app as-is and aren't a substitute for actual dating advice. If something goes wrong, our liability is capped at what you paid us in the last 12 months.

1. What this is

"Postmatch" is an iOS app that reads a Tinder data export you upload and shows you analytics on what's working and what isn't. It's provided by Tilen Mlakar, a sole proprietor based in Slovenia (EU). Throughout these Terms, "we"/"us" means Postmatch, and "you" means the person using the app.

By creating an account or using Postmatch, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Postmatch. Tinder itself requires users to be 18+, so a Tinder export by definition belongs to an adult. If we discover an account belongs to a minor, we'll delete it.

3. Your account

You sign in with Apple. You're responsible for keeping your Apple ID secure — we have no way to recover an account from a lost Apple ID because we don't store an Apple-side credential. If you lose access to your Apple ID and can't recover it through Apple, your Postmatch data becomes unreachable to you. We can delete the account on request.

4. What you can do

5. What you can't do

6. Tiers and billing

Postmatch is currently free during the launch period. Paid tiers (Standard and Strategist, with a Trial period) will ship via Apple In-App Purchase in a future release. When they do:

7. The AI features — what we promise and don't

The AI features run optional rewrites and critiques of your data via OpenAI's API. We promise:

We don't promise the AI is right. The critiques are correlations and pattern-matching, not professional advice. Postmatch is not a therapist, a dating coach, or a relationship counselor. Don't make life decisions based on what an AI rewrite says.

8. The deterministic analytics — same caveat

The non-AI numbers (match rate, reply momentum, profile score, peer comparison) are honest math on the data you uploaded. They're a description of what happened, not a prediction of what will happen if you change something. Correlation is not causation; a bumped peer score doesn't mean a bumped match rate. Use Postmatch as a mirror, not a crystal ball.

9. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice depending on severity. If we terminate your account for a violation, we'll delete your data on the same schedule as a normal account deletion.

10. Disclaimers

Postmatch is provided "as is" and "as available". We don't warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose. Where applicable law requires implied warranties, they're limited to the maximum extent permitted.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim related to Postmatch is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose (which during the free launch period is €0). We're not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that can't be limited under EU consumer protection law.

12. Changes to these Terms

If we materially change these Terms, we'll update this page and email everyone at the address on file at least 30 days before the new version takes effect. Continued use after that means you accept the new Terms; if you don't, delete your account.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Slovenia (EU), without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of Ljubljana, Slovenia, except where EU consumer protection law gives you the right to bring proceedings in your home country.

If you're an EU resident, the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform is available at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
